Annually the Transportation Association of South Carolina holds a conference for the purpose of training new members, showcasing the latest in industry products and services available, and to provide opportunities for networking. The TASC conference attendees are transit service provider executive directors, human service directors, councils on aging, education officials, and their staff, which include the following areas of management: human resources, procurement, finance, maintenance, training, vehicle operators, and quality assurance. Local, State, and Federal Officials are also in attendance each year.

Conference registration will close Wednesday at 4:00pm.

Hotel Information

The site for this year’s Annual Training Event & Vendor Expo is the Westin Hilton Head Island, Two Grasslawn Ave., Hilton Head Island, SC 29928. Reservation deadline extended. All reservations must be made prior to February 9, 2022 to get the conference rate. The conference rate is $117.00 per night.

COVID-19 Protocol

After much research and thoughtful deliberation, the TASC Board of Directors has formally adopted the following COVID protocol for the 2022 Annual Meeting. 

The South Carolina Transportation Association’s first priority is the health and safety of its members and guests while at the conference. In addition, the association desires to provide an environment that encourages as much interaction as is safely possible so that members and guests can share, learn, and build strong relationships within the transit community.

We are strongly encouraging face mask to be worn when social distancing is not possible. Included in your conference swag bag this year will be a high-quality face mask and hand sanitizer. We encourage you to protect yourself and help us protect each other. 

T3S Partnership

The Transportation Technology Transfer Service (T3S) is pleased to be associated with the 2019 TASC Annual Training Event, Expo & Bus Roadeo. As part our agreement with TASC, we are facilitating this year’s conference. T3S will be handling all registrations and payments for TASC. Payment transactions/invoices/receipts will be from Clemson University Transportation Technology Transfer Service (T3S). Neither Clemson University nor T3S benefit from the proceeds of the registration fees or sponsorships of the TASC Conference. All proceeds go to the Transportation Association of South Carolina.
