Battery Electric Transit Bus Training: Provided by Proterra – VIRTUAL
ATTENTION – SWTICH TO VIRTUAL: Proterra Battery Electric Transit Bus Trainings
Proterra, Transportation Association of South Carolina, and Palmetto Clean Fuels are switching to hosting virtual battery electric transit bus trainings due to COVID-19 concerns.
This first virtual training, on August 24th, will involve an introduction to battery electric transit buses and the common systems you will find. Additionally, this training will provide operators a chance to become comfortable and knowledgeable about the electric buses in their fleet.
This second training, on August 25th, will involve getting familiar with Battery Electric Bus systems and subsystems, how to troubleshoot systems, and gaining a deeper understanding of the Proterra ZX5.
Transit agencies that are operating electric transit buses, or considering purchasing, are encouraged to attend. This training is being provided at no cost and space is limited.
Attendees that register for these trainings will have priority registration for upcoming in-person trainings in November-December.
